Annual Tubing Tradition

Ok so this is the second year that my family has gone tubing together. We went to Romer Park and had a ball. There are always to many pictures to choose from. If you want to see more go to Ruby's blog here.
Landon totally biffed it once and got a huge ice burn (if thats what you call it) on his elbows.
Dad was so nice to bring his cooking stove and we had chili and hot dogs along with hot cocoa.

My nieces and nephew had a blast going up and down the hill.

And of course... The boys are always a little wreckless. But they all made it out alive.

The Franke Life

How it would be to be a kid again? I would love it. I went to my sisters Ruby home over the break. Her kids had a good christmas. They got some really fun toys.
My favorite were the bill-a-bowl(?)... You can do all sort of things with them.
Thanks Ruby for letting us play with you 4 adorable kids and their toys.

I took more video than pictures, this is my other sister Ellie.

Bean Auction and More Fun...

For the Biddulph party we went bowling and had a Nativity Scene put on by Landon's little cousins. It was so cute to see these little rascals going from crazy kids to little angles and wise men.
Ally is Landons cousin, she and Jake have been a lot of fun to hang out with. We went to breakfast the other day and then swung over to see there new house they are building.
Bean Auction?? Ok, this is such a great tradition that we started last year and just had to try it out with the other side of the family, instead of trading gifts.... This is how you play, for every person that will be included you bring 3 items per person. Give these random gifts, unwrapped, to whose in charge. These gifts stay covered up and no one knows whats all there. Everyone is then given 35 beans, this is your money. The items will then be brought out one at a time. You then begin bidding on what you want.

This was the one wrapped gag gift, I think he payed like 10 beans for it.

A few gift that were auctioned off were.... Kid toys, clothes, tools, beach blanket, movies and everything for every age. The key is to look all year long so you can find things on sale and at a good price.

Christmas Vacation

Landon and I had a great Christmas Vacation. He got a some really fun stuff this year. We couldn't have had as much fun as we did if it wasn't for family. One of my favorite things is a good Christmas Breakfast. In the past I would have more of a pastry like the kind Wimmers would make for us. But this year this is what we got.

On Christmas eve we went Caroling to the neighbors and friends of Landon's parents in Mnt. Green. It was a lot of fun, the only other time I had done that was for the youth activities.
