2nd Annual Griffiths Campfire

Last year for my birthday we had a campfire. This year we did the same thing. We have just decided that every year we will have a campfire. It is fun, cheap, and gets the family together. This year I feel bad, Beau, Emily, and Dad couldn't make it. I guess there is always next year. It was way fun, we roasted hot dogs, smores and Kevin even read camp stories.

No Longer a Teenager

My teen years have been great. It is weird to think I am now 20, wow, i'm getting old, j/k.....I still feel young, and I still act like a kid. Maybe it is time I grow up and act my age...Not.....I will act as young as I want. It's good for ya, maybe we should all try acting like kids. Well anyways, I had a good birthday. This is a cookie jar that my parents gave me. Isn't it so adorable.

Happy Fathers Day

For fathers day Ellie and I gave my dad a pedicure, head massage, and rubbed his hands with lotion. He just loves being pampered. It was really fun. He is such a good dad.

17 Yr old Suburban and still Running

My parents bought this suburban around 17 years ago and after having it full of scouts, young men and woman and lots of family vacations it is still in pretty darn good condition. Ellie and I spent a few hours and cleaned it top to bottom, inside to out. When we were done it was sparkling clean, smelled good, and I even got a little sun on my legs.

Severe Cousins Visit

I just absolutely love when my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins come over. Even if it is totally unexpected and spure of the moment. I came home from work to find that my Aunt Julie and her family came down from Wyoming to visit. We sure had a ball staying up past midnight playing the wii Nintendo.

These memories are really some of my favorite. I love that my extended family has the relationships that we do. They are all so great and fun to be around. It is definitely worth giving my bedroom up for a night or two.

Memorial Day with the Griffiths

On Memorial Day it was really rainy and cold so instead of standing outside putting flowers on my grandpas grave we figured my grandpa would rather us be happy and all his family get together and have a good time. And that is exactly what we did. Lots a food and playing around.

My dad sure did have fun with all the cousins and kids jumping on him and getting a little rough. My Uncle Calvin and Aunt Buff rented the pool house, so we had lots of room to run around.

Memorial Weekend with Grandpa Neilson

Friday before memorial day, we always go to Idaho to pick up my grandpa than go to Parker Cemetary and decorate my grandmas grave (and a few other family members). I always look forward to it, its always such a neat experience. Usually the weather there is real windy, this time it was perfect, no wind, just overcast and real warm.

We stopped at my grandpas brother, Roberts home and visited. This picture is of my grandma and grandpas very first home they lived in. Isn't it so cute.

This is where our family has had lots of picknicks and spent lots of time together. I would hope when I pass on, that people would still come decorate my grave. It is a pretty place.

My grandpa has his saddle in the basement. We like to play on it and pretend we are really riding a horse.
